How to become a board member

We are always looking for more engaged and committed leaders who reflect the wide variety of stakeholders and businesses in the region to join our board. Some further details on what being a board member entails can be found below:

  • Terms of appointment range from two to three years.
  • Applicants should be senior level decision makers or have optimum policy making/hiring authority.
  • Applicants should be able to commit to Board and Committee meetings.
    • These meetings happen on a monthly/quarterly basis
    • Meetings generally have a duration of two to three hours
    • Meetings are public and generally held during normal business hours with some during evening hours
    • Meetings may be convened at various locations throughout the region in accessible facilities
